| Ximena Prudencio discovered the value of bodywork and Zen for confronting the challenges she was having in her life: physically, mentally, emotionally.
These disciplines, including training in martial arts, renewed her life. It has also directed her to Yoga. She has been practicing structural bodywork and meditation since 1998. She
is also available for Yoga instruction.
A graduate of the Atlanta School of Massage, Deep Tissue and Neuromuscular Therapy Program, Ximena initially studied structural integration with
Zentherapy® founder, William “Dub” Leigh. She later completed an apprenticeship with Everett Ogawa, founder of this method, and assists him at
trainings. She is a student of Rinzai Zen teacher Dogen Hosokawa Roshi. Ana Forrest and Rod Stryker have been her primary teachers in Yoga.
Prior to these, Ximena lived as a biologist, natural history educator and as an instructor for the National Outdoor Leadership School. She has a BA in Journalism from the University of Rhode
Island.
